In Wonderland

There is a peace within,

when the shutter snaps and the light hits the glass,
a moment in time is captured,
eyes widen in joyous rapture
as they witness the artist's creation materialize on a canvas,
she brings forth beauty with the blackest of tools,
some rectangular and small,
others large and as big as books,
she is a master of her craft
bringing out the splendor in all she views,
For with just a click and a snap,
she awakens wonderment in both the old and the youth
